Quality control procedures are in place at every step of the process, from the farm with the selections of variety, adoption of agronomic advice regarding best practices, attention to location, soil type, time of harvesting and expedient fresh fruit delivery; to inside our facility where processing begins as the fruit enters as a Pineapple and exits in a drum/bin as a Pineapple Juice Concentrate.
Inside The Factory
Our factory was established in 1958 as a pineapple canning factory, and converted to the production of pineapple juice concentrate only in 2008. We are one of a very few PJC only factories in the world.
We adhere to the strictest international food safety standards, and quality control procedures are in place at every step of our value chain.
From the farms with the application of best practices (our farmers operate a study group system where they continuously share information in order to keep improving), attention to location, soil type, time of harvesting and timeous fresh fruit delivery, to inside our facility where the fruit is processed from its raw state into aseptically packaged pineapple juice concentrate.
Certifications
We comply with BRC/HACCP at every step of our process and are accredited to supply some of the world’s largest and most discerning juice bottlers. In addition, we are members of SGF, a voluntary quality control organisation of the major juice packers in the European Union.
